Event organizers in Nigeria needed better software.
Nigeria has one of the most active event economies in West Africa — conferences, ministry conventions, weddings, training programs, expos. Most of it was running on a mix of Google Forms, WhatsApp groups, and manual receipt collection.
The few platforms that existed were either built for Western markets (not optimized for Naira pricing, local payment methods, or Nigerian KYC) or were too generic to handle the specific needs of large multi-day events with complex registration flows.
Three problems no existing tool solved.
Right Events came to us to build a platform that would solve all three.
- No platform handled multi-tier ticketing with custom workflows for African events.
- Payment integration with local processors (Paystack, Flutterwave) was poor or absent.
- Event organizers needed white-label branding for their own events, not platform branding.
Multi-tenant from day one.
The temptation with platform builds is to start with a single use case and “add multi-tenancy later.” That always becomes a re-architecture project. We built Right Events multi-tenant from the first week — every event organizer would get isolated data, custom branding, and a unique sub-domain or custom domain.
We mapped the three core flows — organizer onboarding, attendee registration, post-event analytics — and built them as a coherent system, not three loosely-connected modules.
Payment integration was the most operationally complex part. We built abstracted payment provider interfaces so the platform could route through Paystack, Flutterwave, or others depending on currency, event location, and organizer preference.
Six core capabilities.
- Multi-tenant event creation — Organizers create branded event sites with custom domains, logos, color schemes, and content. Each event lives at its own URL with no platform branding.
- Flexible ticketing — Multi-tier tickets, group rates, early-bird pricing, promo codes, and waitlists. Configurable per event without code.
- Local payment processing — Paystack and Flutterwave integration with automatic currency handling. Naira and USD supported. Receipts and confirmations sent automatically.
- Attendee management — Real-time attendee dashboards, QR code check-in, badge generation, and capacity tracking.
- Communications — Built-in email broadcasting, segmented attendee lists, automated reminders, and post-event surveys.
- Analytics & reporting — Revenue dashboards, attendance reports, conversion funnels, and exportable data for accounting and stakeholder reporting.
