Origin
We started in 2018 with one conviction.
Most agencies are generalists. They build websites, mobile apps, e-commerce stores, brand identities, social media campaigns, and SEO — for any client who walks in the door. They survive on volume. They rarely become indispensable to anyone.
Elyshub Dev was founded with the conviction that serious software work demands focus. Better to build great work for the right people than to build okay work for everyone. Six years and 30+ projects later, that conviction has only sharpened.
In 2026, we relaunched as a focused software studio. Three practices. Defined buyers. Productized offerings. Same conviction, sharper execution.
Principles
Six rules we work by.
Discovery before delivery
We don't write free proposals at scale. Every serious engagement starts with paid discovery that produces a real scope, architecture, and timeline.
Specificity over adjectives
Numbers, names, and concrete outcomes. “World-class” and “innovative” don't mean anything. Engineering ships do.
Honest pushback
We disagree with clients when we think they're wrong. A studio that says yes to everything isn't a partner — it's a vendor.
Code quality is a feature
We ship maintainable code. The next engineer to touch it — yours or ours — should be able to read it without a guide.
No drama
We don't disappear, we don't ghost, we don't miss invoices, we don't blame the client. If something's going wrong, we say so early.
Fewer, better engagements
We work with fewer clients than the average agency. We don't run at 90% utilization — we run at 70%, which is how quality stays high.

We're based in Lagos and work with clients across West Africa, EMEA, and the US. Our hours overlap meaningfully with all three regions. Most communication happens through Slack, Linear, and weekly video calls.
